In May of 2012, Hustad Companies, Inc., a roofing and property management company was attending RECon in Las Vegas and called on Scott Creative to design a series of marketing pieces targeting prospective customers. With 1,000 exhibitors and more than 30,000 in attendance over the course of three days, RECon is one of the largest industry conventions around.
“We had a custom-built trade show booth for our inaugural appearance at RECON in Las Vegas – at a cost of over $40,000. We realized that our existing branding, colors and logo wouldn’t really fit with any of the concepts we were looking at. Scott Creative was able to completely rebrand our company image, from the logo and colors down to the tag line. ” said Spencer L., a consultant for Hustad Companies.
The print pieces integrate Hustad Companies new logo into a folder, double-sided folder inserts, a rack card and business cards. Estimates obtained from printers in Las Vegas showed that printing there was going to be more expensive than anticipated, so each piece was printed locally in Omaha and then shipped to Hustad’s booth at RECon. Printing and shipping took under a week and the deliverables were waiting there for Hustad’s employees when they arrived at RECon.
“We were going to use a printer out of Vegas who was the preferred contractor for the tradeshow, but Scott Creative saved us thousands on printing costs by sourcing locally and utilizing expedited shipping methods.”
This project in particular is a great example of Scott Creative’s ability to provide professionally designed print work on time while also working on the client’s behalf to ensure they’re getting the most out of their print investment.
